History

The selected 2011 marks the narrated video’s release and spread, not the filming of the animal footage. Know Your Meme dates the czg123 upload, titled The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger (original narration by Randall), to January 18, 2011, and identifies its footage as coming from a National Geographic special aired in 2007. Those precise dates and the footage attribution are retrospective-source-attributed, not independently verified here. The narration’s catchphrases, including “honey badger don’t care,” also became image-caption material. The original contains profanity and wildlife predation; this exhibit does not play or reproduce that audio or the full video. Its representative still cannot preserve the voice, editing or timing.
