About & sources

Cartoon narwhals swim through an exuberant musical tribute: a catchy refrain turns an unlikely animal into a repeatable web-song character.

Date

Weebl’s Stuff YouTube publication dated February 22, 2009; song by Weebl, animation credited to Wonchop.

History

The Weebl’s Stuff upload of Narwhals displays February 22, 2009 as its publication date. A Know Your Meme video record credits the song to Weebl and animation to Wonchop. The selected year marks that upload, not a verified production start or the later revival of the song. The newer Know Your Meme entry describes subsequent covers and edits; its April 2026 entry-publication date is not the cartoon’s debut. The preview shows three smiling cartoon narwhals emerging through ice, with the subtitle “Narwhals, Narwhals.” It is a representative subtitled still, not playable preservation of the song or animation and not a blank editing template. The original includes crude humor; the secondary source also discusses adult-themed remixes, which are not imported here. Artwork and music remain the property of their rightsholders: this private research preview and attribution do not establish permission for public reuse.
