Leonidas’s face replaces a quiz-show contestant above “What is this?” Answers include Madness, SPARTAAAA, a chance to dine in hell, and I dunno.

Is that your final answer?

Source ↗
Credit & details

A multiple-choice question should allow deliberation. Leonidas has already selected the loudest answer. The familiar quiz-show layout makes the shout even more absurd: an epic declaration has become a contestant refusing to use an indoor voice.

Leonidas’s shouting face on a uniformed bellhop in a hotel lobby: “THIS IS TOWAAAAAH!!!”

Hotel reception has become very intense

Source ↗
Credit & details

The stern bellhop and hotel setting turn the battle cry into an overenthusiastic introduction to a tower. The caption preserves the stretched final sound while changing the destination. A fan edit, not a line from either original screen production.

A mock Home Alone soundtrack cover titled Sparta Alone, with Leonidas’s shouting face replacing the child’s face between raised hands.

Kevin has a very different security system

Source ↗
Credit & details

The hands-on-cheeks pose fits two completely different kinds of yelling. Pasting in the warrior turns a childhood alarm into an adult battle cry, while the altered title completes the crossover. The retained soundtrack text belongs to the spoofed cover; this is not an official album or evidence of a real John Williams Sparta project.

About & sources

A film character’s emphatic answer became a portable punchline: swap the setting, exaggerate the shout, or recut it into a repeating remix.

Date

Leonidas’s shouted line in the trailer for Zack Snyder’s 300; pre-release web parodies.

History

The selected 2006 refers to trailer-era online parody, not the film’s later theatrical release. Know Your Meme dates a This is Sparta YTMND by heksaur to October 10, 2006, describing parodies before the movie opened; that precise early date is retrospective-source-attributed, not independently verified here. Its page inconsistently calls the film 2006 in one section and 2007 in another, so this exhibit does not use those labels to date the film’s release. The underlying scene has Leonidas shout the line and kick a messenger into a well; fictional violence is part of its context. Image captions, face cutouts and rhythmic Sparta remixes are distinct adaptations, not all the same original artifact. This representative still is not playable preservation of the scene or its remixes. Film imagery and audio remain copyrighted; attribution and private display do not establish public-reuse permission.
